About the role

Veeta is only as good as the data flowing into it. We support more than 200 sources today, and every one needs to be reliable, fresh, and correctly stitched into a single model. We are looking for a staff engineer to own the connector platform and set the technical direction for ingestion.

What you'll do

• Design the framework that lets us add a new high-quality connector in days, not weeks.

• Build streaming ingestion on change data capture and webhooks, with polling as a graceful fallback.

• Own entity resolution so the same company shows up as one node, not five.

• Make backfills and reliability boringly dependable at scale.

• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years building integrations, ETL, or data infrastructure.

• Strong API design instincts and a deep reliability mindset.

• Experience leading projects and the engineers who deliver them.

• Comfort owning ambiguity and turning it into a durable system.

Nice to have

• Hands-on work with identity resolution or schema mapping.

• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming infrastructure.

• A history of building developer-facing platforms.
